About this School Project (K- Combine Lines, Colors, & Shapes to Make Leaves!)
Kindergarten artists are contining to discover how the elements of art can be used in art making (Ohio Visual Art Standards k.3CR). They used different line types to make leaf shapes! The students used a new art material (oil pastels!) to color their leaves, working toward Ohio Visual Art Standard K.2PR: explore a variety of materials and tools to create works of art. Students chose the color or colors they wanted their leaves to be, and many students decided to try mixing the colors! The artists continued to show they could be resposible with paint as they used tempera cake paints to add color behind their leaves!
