Artist Statement (what Abby13356 said about their artwork)
I used the dream-like feeling of an empty ocean to create a surrealistic feeling. I contrasted the canvas to the dark background and surroundings. I think the most successful part of my piece was the water because you can see the brush strokes, which I think adds to the dream/nightmare feeling.
