About this School Project (Reggie Laurent Inspired Shapes - 2nd-3rd)
Introduced to Reggie Laurent, a local Atlanta modern artist, students were inspired to follow along with his process of adding geometric, organic/freeform shapes in white on a black paper. Students combined white paint and white collage paper to have variety of brightness of neon paint layered on top. They then added a variety of drawn patterns to their unique artworks with permanent markers and finished them by threading the shapes together with a fine white painted line.
