About this School Project (2nd Grade - Magritte’s Marvelous Hat)
2nd grade listened to the book, Magritte’s Marvelous Hat. We talked about some of Magritte’s artwork and his Surrealist style. Then we created our own Surrealist artwork using Magritte’s floating bowlers hat and whatever fun cloud shapes we chose to go with the theme of our work. See if you can tell the connection between the cloud shapes and the character or item in their hats.
