My favorite part is the stockings with all my family's name's. I think is brings out all of the art work. I also like how there is not that much white space in my painting. The only thing i would change is how the paint spread everywhere on my paper. I wish I did not add that much water to make all the water spread.
About this School Project (Grade 5 - Christmas Card Illustrations)
Each year students at JPII Prep Division (5th - 8th grades), create Christmas Card Illustrations. A few illustrations from each grade level are selected to be printed and sold by the school. This year 5th grade students used a technique called Marker Painting to complete their Christmas Card Designs. This technique uses marker ink along with water and a paintbrush to create the "painted look" of these illustrations. Our young artists LOVE to get compliments on their work -- please leave a comment for an artist you know!
