About this School Project (Pumpkin Creations 2021)
1st grade students used their knowledge of shapes to create a collage pumpkin. The students drew the shapes they felt would make their jack-o-lantern's face, body and stem the best. They cut these shapes out carefully and glued them together, and sometimes those pieces were stacked on top of each other. Collage is a 2 Dimensional art process where the artist cuts, glues, and overlaps their media (paper).
