About this School Project (6TH VALUE STILL LIFE DRAWING)
Using what they learned about value and shading in 4th grade, 6th grade artists expanded their skill by drawing more advanced forms. A variety of white ceramic dishes were set up at each table with spotlights. The spotlights created better shadows and highlights for them to see. First, they sketched the forms on their paper. Second, they used a 4B drawing pencil, blending stick and kneaded eraser to create a value drawing that shows at least 4 different values. A cast shadow was added last.
