Artist Statement (what Sarah33522 said about their artwork)
For this project, I have several pictures that represent me. Some are, track and field, golf, and volleyball. These are the sports that I play, so they are always on my mind. I also, think about fashion, shopping, baking, art, and listening to music, because they are all things that I love. Not only that, but I also think about food! I love ice cream, and cupcakes, and pizza. On my drawing, there are also macaroons, that represent me because I love French food, am learning to speak French, and want to visit Paris one day! Those are my pictures and how they represent me! A concept that I improved on this project, was gradients with the same color.
About this School Project (Art 7-8 What's On Your Mind M4)
Students communicate important things about themselves using colorful visual images, but without using words or numbers. They use newly learned colored pencil techniques to create rich colors with depth.
