Artist Statement (what CELA16 said about their artwork)
I am going to trace a silhouette from my computer and then I am going to cut out a magazine and glue it in.
I think I could have added more things about me and how I feel because I made my silhouette way to small.
I chose animals because I love animals, I chose Pizza because it is one of my favorite foods, I chose the earth to symbolize that the whole world is in this together, I put black whole because this feels like a black whole and that it is never gonna end, I put your dreaming because I wish I could wake up and this wouldn't be happening, I put baking because I love to bake.
Yes, my work has a color scheme.
Yes, my page is fully covered. No blank spaces.
I want people to know that I love animals and that this is a really hard time for me but, there are still positive things.
By completing this artwork, I learned that maybe next time I should make the silhouette bigger and that it is hard to cut out magazines to the shape you want.
I struggled with the size of my silhouette. Because it was so small, it was harder to fit things in.
I am most proud of the background I think.
