About this School Project (2-A Wayne Thiebald inspired Lollipops)
Wayne Thiebaud was an American painter who is most well known for his bright, cheerful paintings of sweets such as cakes, ice cream cones and candy. He is associated with the Pop Art Movement. This project is based on Thiebaud’s artworks that feature lollipops. Students created bright circles with paint and then balanced their lollipops on a colorful background with bright popsicle stick bases. These lollipops look good enough to eat!
