About this School Project (Kindergarten Mandalas)
Students learned that Mandalas are circular designs from ancient times and cultures that are still being made today. In Tibet monks make elaborate sand painting mandalas that are swept away after days of work. This is to symbolize how nothing lasts forever. Students were encouraged to give this piece of art away for the same reason.
