About this School Project (Spiral Flowers: Grade 1)
Students used gold and silver marker to create spiral designed flowers with varying lines. They used water based markers and painted a background with dash lines and water before going over the top with liquid watercolor. Using a black oil pastel they added stems. Finally students focused on shape by overlapping their flowers. Students were encouraged to add a variety of flower sizes to create a balanced piece of art.
