I had so much fun doing this. I loved gluing and pasting.
About this School Project (Treasure map)
Students looked at a variety of treasure maps to get some ideas for their own map. Students were asked to include a compass for their map and different land formations. They were also given a variety of foam pieces to collage onto their maps. They learned how to make a map look ancient by crumpling their paper or tearing some of the edges and how they could roll up a map and tie it with a string to store their map.
