About this School Project (4th Grade O'Keeffe Watercolor Flowers)
Students learned about the artist, Georgia O'Keeffe (born in Sun Prairie, WI!) and her famous flower artwork. They took a "bug's eye view" and created their flowers with petals falling off the page using oil pastels. Once the details were done, they chose contrasting colors or colors opposite one another on the color wheel and using watercolor paints, finished their compositions.
