Artist Statement (what Autumn10695 said about their artwork)
They use items they find in nature, correct? Well, we used items that we found outside of school, like leaves, wildflowers, clovers, etc. Andy Goldsworthy, Alan Sonfist, and Aurora Robson also used things they found outside.
About this School Project (Cyanotype Sun Prints)
Develop personal responses to Eco-Artists such as Andy Goldsworthy, Alan Sonfist, and Aurora Robson via gallery walk. Share responses with each other to compare how personal experiences influence artistic interpretation.
A cyanotype is created when ferric ammonium citrate and potassium ferricyanide are combined with water and applied to a surface which then makes it light sensitive! Place objects on the surface to block UV light exposure. This creates a negative (or opposite) image. Rinse the solution off with cool water to see your print!
