Artist Statement (what Milan1087 said about their artwork)
I learned that many places and times thought weaving was a good job and some made slaves and children do weaving because it was not a good job. The second thing I learned was that you can weave out of almost anything. The last thing I learned was that you have to use a warp and a weft to weave. I thought that I did good on my weaving.
About this School Project (Explore Art- Q1- Woven Cover Book)
Students created their own colorful paper and used strips of it to weave a mat. The woven mat became the cover of a book they created themselves.
