Artist Statement (what Sierra7240 said about their artwork)
First I printed the fish and then I paint the fish then I did the back round and then I glued it on and draw the coral and put oil pastel and here it is
About this School Project (2nd Japanese Gyotaku)
Students learned about the art of painting fish and printing them. This was done in Japanese culture before the camera's were invented to record the size of the fish they caught. Now is it done more so as an art form.
