About this School Project (Mixed City)
"Mixed," by Arree Chung, is a book that celebrates diversity. In the beginning, there are only blues, yellows, and reds (primary colors). The colors start to mix, and create an entire rainbow (and more) of color in their community. Students drew a city in black and white just like Arree, and they used fingerpaint to make their mixed people. Last, they added details to give their people personalities!
