About this School Project (Zinnias: Grade K)
In this week’s lesson, students learned about Hunter Clementine, a self-taught Folk artist from Louisiana. Students learned that she created much of her art from memory based on her years working on the plantation. Much of her work displayed every day farm life. Students chose to focus on the artwork she painted of a beautiful jug of Zinnias. They used watercolor and marker to complete their artwork focusing on shape(form), line and color.
