About this School Project (Romero Britto Pattern Hearts)
Students heard about the life and art of Pop Cubist, Romero Britto. He is known for the Happy Art Movement and his colorful, bold artwork. He is well recognized for his use of hearts in his artwork. Students created a heart with lines. They painted the lines of their drawing with black acrylic paint and used oil pastel to give their heart picture color. Next they layered their oil pastel with a second color to draw different kinds of pattern within their shapes.
