About this School Project (Snowman Huddle)
INTRO:
During this lesson, students were introduced to viewpoints; the spot from which the viewer is looking at a scene. Creating unique viewpoints can add drama and fun to a piece of work.
PROJECT:
To create their low viewpoint, students drew their snowmen around the outside of the paper so that it appears as if the snowmen are looking down on the viewer or are in a huddle. Once they traced their circular shapes, students gave each snowman a unique identity. Finally, they outlined their drawing with sharpie, colored with colored pencil sticks and then painted their sky with liquid watercolors.
