Artist Statement (what Londynn92 said about their artwork)
I worked like Chris Uphues by using hearts.
First, I traced and cut out hearts.
Next, I drew faces on hearts.
Last I, glued a heart on to the black paper.
My title is Rainbow Heart.
About this School Project (Chris Uphues Style Heart Collage)
Third grade artists were inspired by the Pop Art of street artist and illustrator, Chris Uphues. They used hearts, cartoon faces and bright colors in Uphues’ style. They cut, arranged, overlapped and glued their shapes.
