Artist Statement (what Andrew45199 said about their artwork)
Mrs. Bennions favorite animal is the giraffe so I created this for her and gave it a similar name
About this School Project (Mondrian Animals: Grade 1)
Students learned about Piet Mondrian and his cubist style of art using only primary colors. Students chose an animal to draw with permanent black marker using thick and thin lines and were encouraged to leave a couple sections white while using red, blue and yellow on the other sections to create a balanced composition.
