About this School Project (Kindergarten; “Kandinsky” Composition)
Students viewed paintings by Russian artist Wassily Kandinsky who was considered a pioneer of abstract art, focusing on lines, shapes and color expression. The children then created colored marker line drawings and painted watercolors within the shapes and spaces of their artwork.
