About this School Project (1st- Cardboard Funny Faces)
The students learned about Pablo Picasso, an artist that paints strange faces that are seen from multiple sides all at once (called Cubism). We read "When Pigasso Met Mootisse" which shows more about his unique style and his friendship with artist Henri Matisse. We made these unusual faces with cardboard, wood scraps, buttons, and popsicle sticks. Then we painted them by mixing primary colors and white.
