About this School Project (Matisse Free Form Collage)
Students learned about French artist Henri Matisse and how he painted with scissors by making collages. Students also learned about the difference between geometric and organic/free form/natural shapes. Then, students cut out their own free form shapes to create a colorful collage of shapes.
