About this School Project ((K) Elements of Art)
Students will use various materials to explore the Elements and Principles of Art.
- Students explored Line (Horizontal and Vertical), using a ruler to create straight lines, and Color (Primary Colors, Red, Yellow, Blue), using oil pastels, to learn more about the famous artist Piet Mondrian!
- Students explored Color, using a shaving cream, glue, and food coloring mixture of Primary Colors (Red, Yellow, and Blue) to make Secondary Colors (Orange, Green, Purple).
- Students explored Shape, learning more about the artist Paul Klee to create and build a castle. Students traced the castle with sharpie before using watercolor paint.
