About this School Project (Fox in the Woods: Grade 1)
Students learned about the foreground, middle ground and background in their landscape art. Students created their landscapes while including trees, mountains, and a winter fox. Students drew their foxes with implied texture and details using dash line. Students then added footprints in the snow disappearing as they went towards the horizon line. Students were encouraged to have the trees appear smaller as they went towards the background of their papers as well.
