About this School Project (Pumpkin Zentangles)
Students looked at several paintings by the famous still life painter, Paul Cezanne. They studied the paintings and saw how he used overlapping objects in his painting to make some objects appear closer than others. He also painted some objects closer to the bottom of the painting to make them appear closer. Students attempted to use what they learned from Paul Cezanne to create a 3-dimensional looking pumpkin still life. They zentangled by adding different patterns each section of the pumpkins.
