About this School Project (1 & 2 - Snow Globes)
To get in the mood for this project, students were first read the story "The Snow Globe Family" by Jane O’Connor and S.S. Schindler. They then created their own snow globes by first drawing a winter, fish bowl or fantasy scene. Next, they outlined their drawing with sharpie and then colored in their details with crayons and then painted their backgrounds with liquid watercolors. Lastly, they learned how to make a symmetrical base or stand using a folded piece of paper which they then colored with construction paper crayons and glued onto their globe.
