About this School Project (K - 2 Charlotte's Web)
As part of Zeh School's One School One Read of the book "Charlotte's Web" by E.B. White, students created their own image of Charlotte and her web.
Students began by first drawing a spider and her web. After learning about the wax resist technique in which oil and water do not mix, students colored in their details with oil pastels. Lastly, they painted their backgrounds with colors that mix well; analogous colors (colors next to one another on the color wheel) using watercolor paint.
