About this School Project (1-2nd grade - Pop Art Hearts)
Students in 1-2nd grade Art Club created Pop Art HEARTS inspired by Jim Dine’s Four Hearts.
First, students drew a large heart on a square sheet of paper and separated it into 4-5 sections. Next, they added patterns and/or repetition of lines and shapes to each section. Modge Podge glue was used to adhere a variety of tissue paper squares to the heart. Last, the border of the picture was filled with colored lines and shapes radiating from the heart.
