About this School Project (4TH/5TH GEOMETRIC SOLIDS)
4th and 5th grade learned how to correctly draw several geometric forms including a cone, sphere, cylinder, pyramid, cube and rectangular prism. They also learned vocabulary & techniques to create highlights, shadows & cast shadows to make their forms more life like. Students practiced before they were asked to do an observational drawing of 2 forms set up on their table. The main lights were turned off & spotlights were directed toward the forms to allow the students to see the highlight, shadows & cast shadows. We used 4B art pencils, blending sticks and kneaded erasers to create our drawings.
