About this School Project (Animal Profile Drawing and Mosaic)
2nd grade artists chose an animal as their subject and drew its profile with an appropriate background before adding color with colored pencils. Then, using paper tile squares, students developed a pattern and created a mosaic design surrounding the drawing. Artists then cut their artwork out and mounted it to a piece of construction paper in the color of their choice to accent their work.
