About this School Project (Hand Tree (Kinder))
Students traced their hand and arm first. Then details were added to turn the hand into a tree. The artwork was painted using watercolor paints.
Pencil lines were traced in crayon and then painted with watercolor paints. This technique is called crayon resist. The crayon wax resists the paint and shows through.
