About this School Project (K-Blue Chicken Portrait)
The is a portrait of the chicken in the story, "Blue Chicken," by Deborah Freedman. The chicken only wanted to help finish the painting of the farm, but accidentally spilled the blue paint all over! We practiced making spiral lines in the background of our art, cut our chicken out of white paper, and even added a spray of that blue paint that the chicken spilled to make it look like the pictures in the book. In the end, the chicken was able to clean up the mess and make it all better.
