About this School Project (2-5 Open Wide...)
INTRO:
For this silly drawing project, students were shown how to create a drawing that when opened reveals what is hidden inside the mouth. They could draw either a portrait (front) or profile (side) view and fold their paper horizontally or vertically. Students then had the option of using how to draw books to aide them in their drawing.??
PROJECT:
Next, students learned how to fold their paper so that when they opened it they could look inside and then drew a large head or body with the mouth laying along the fold. Next, they added the remaining details for the head/body and background. Finally, students outlined their drawing with sharpie, erased any stray pencil lines and then colored them in with colored pencils.
