About this School Project (1 - Leaves from Observation)
During this lesson students learned that many artists view an object and then create a drawing directly from what they are viewing; an observational drawing. Students each chose a leaf and drew what they saw with watercolor crayons, noticing the lines and colors in their leaf. They then painted their drawing with water to blend the crayon.
