About this School Project (Watercolor Scarecrows)
We read the story The Little Scarecrow Boy written by Margaret Wise Brown and illustrated by David Diaz to inspire our paintings. Students practiced the technique of wash with lots of water and a bit of paint for a light value. They also explored blending colors with the wet-on wet watercolor technique.
