About this School Project (Warhol Prints)
Students learned about Andy Warhol and his iconic pop art images. We looked at his colorful backgrounds and the way he repeated iconic images over and over. The students created a painted background with different colors and patterns. Then they picked a single image or abstract design to print multiple times in the different sections of their background. They printed in black to create a Warhol effect combined with their colorful backgrounds.
