About this School Project (2019-20 Annual STM POSTER Contest Entrees)
Our students have been in tough competition with each other over this year's annual SCHOOL THEME SONG Poster Contest. Their task is to depict this year's song, "We Are St.Thomas More!" The song was written by none other than our own, very talented, Music teacher, Mr. Matt MacLarney. The top 3 students from each homeroom who BEST ILLUSTRATE the song lyrics will receive the prestige of having their artwork laminated, and put on display the remainder of the year throughout our school hallways. The Contest is run in conjunction with a Button Contest which also BEST illustrates the Theme Song, only in button form. All winners will have extra buttons and each student (and teacher) in the school will receive a button. Students and teachers proudly wear these buttons all year, as the Christian Values emphasized in the song are practiced throughout the school year. The students eagerly learn the lyrics, as the song generally is incorporated into our school assemblies. As you can see, there is some amazing TALENT evident in this year's WINNERS at all grade levels! WAY TO GO STUDENTS! And THANK YOU again, Mr. MacLarney!!!
