Artist Statement (what Kiara2830 said about their artwork)
I chose this object because I wanted to do something fairly simple. Contour line is the outline of an object. The line quality can be thick or thin depending on where the light is hitting on the object. I added line quality to the top of the drill and the top of the handle. I would have changed how straight the lines were.
About this School Project (Contour Object Q1)
Students selected a random object from the art room. They were asked to do a contour drawing of that object. They reviewed what contour drawings are and then showed their improvement in their observation skills.
