About this School Project (Kindergarten First Day of Art Self-Portraits without assistance to show current knowledge & skills!)
Students drew a self-portrait on their first day of art class. These drawings help show students' current knowledge of lines, shapes, space, and color (some of the elements of art.) No instruction was given to allow students to show their current skills, strengths, and needs. Students will create a self-portrait at the end of the school year, and I encourage you to look back at this artwork to see your child's growth!
