Artist Statement (what Angelina7028 said about their artwork)
I am proud of the way that I blended the watercolors. Since it was my first time using watercolors, I think it turned out nice.
I would change how I colored the characters because it looks kind of lazy/choppy.
About this School Project (Cartoon Unit/My Style)
Students will begin by studying different styles of cartoon and animation. They will practice drawing 9 different types of their choice.
They will then create their own style of cartoon and draw themselves in the center of an 11 x 14" piece of paper. Around the "My Style", they will re-create at least 5 more characters of different styles that are re-done in their image.
Students will use colored pencils for this project.
