About this School Project (One-Point Perspective Gardens)
For this project, 1st graders studied the element of art “space” and healthy eating! To begin this project, 1st graders explored different types of vegetables that can be grown in a garden, and many students shared their own gardening experiences. Then, step-by-step students drew one-point perspective by creating their horizon line, their “one point”, and other points to connect. Afterwards, students filled their garden plots with their favorite vegetables and used colored pencils to add color. It looks like it was a plentiful crop season for 1st graders this school year!
