About this School Project (African Mask)
Inspired by the African Mask collection that students observed on their recent trip to the BMA, 4th grade artists created their own tribal masks. Concentrating in creating symetry, studentd used lines and color to create realism. Students used natural elements to embellish their masks. Students were also challenged to create a narrative for their work to describe the purpose of their creation.
