About this School Project (2 - Keith Haring Inspired Poses)
INTRO: Students were read the excerpt “Keith Haring” from the book Kid Artists, True tales of childhood creative legends. They learned how Haring began his love of art and his unique style that made him famous.
PROJECT: Students then emulated his style of figures to create their own artwork. They used mannequins to draw figures in a variety of poses and then drew patterns of lines around the figures to mimic Haring’s use of “tick marks” to show movement.
