About this School Project (Impressionist Bridge)
Students were inspired by Impressionist painters like Monet. We looked at several paintings before we started to make our own.
Students used tape to create the shape and details of their bridge. Then they used sponge brushes and tempera paint to paint in a dabbing motion over their entire paper, including the tape.
When the paint dries, students peel off the tape to reveal their bridge within the paint.
