About this School Project (Stylized Mondrian)
Students learned about the work of the artist Piet Mondrian. His art is designed with simple forms of horizontal and vertical lines filled in with vivid colors. For this assignment I gave the students a copy of a bicycle frame. The students used tracers, a compass and a ruler to draw the frame and simulate the horizontal and vertical lines of Piet Mondrains style.
