About this School Project (1-2 Tall Birds)
We looked at a few of the "funny and strange" pictures (aka surrealism style) by Salvador Dali. One characteristic the kids loved was how he made some animals look normal, except for their very long legs. Students practiced making different tall animals and for our project, we chose long-legged birds. We colored the birds with cool colors and used waterpaint in warm colors for our background.
